Job summary

Chiffre is seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting & Finance to lead the European finance operations from Basel. You will partner with regional leadership and global finance to drive strategic financial planning, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires a strong background in cross-border accounting, treasury management, and regulatory tax considerations, with the ability to influence business decisions and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification and/or prior auditing experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regional accounting activities across Europe ensuring compliance with local statutes and internal policies.
• Manage treasury, financial planning, and reporting to support growth and operational excellence.
• Coordinate with global finance teams to maintain consistency in accounting and reporting practices.
• Oversee payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and cash management.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Support external audits and regulatory compliance across the European region.
