Job summary

ALTEN Group in Geneva seeks a skilled Business Analyst to support banking, financial and accounting initiatives. You will translate business objectives into functional specifications and collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment and success.

With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, you will model processes, manage requirements, and contribute to strategic transformations within the Swiss banking sector.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in Business Analysis within banking/financial services.
• Experience with cross-functional initiatives and organizational change.
• Ability to translate objectives into functional specs.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving approach.
• Experience using data/metrics to support recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Knowledge of finance/accounting processes is a plus.
• Proficient in French and English; Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow/MS 365; Agile.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define project requirements.
• Capture and formalize business needs into functional documentation.
• Model processes, user interactions and data flows.
• Use data analysis to support project activities and decisions.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of requirements.
• Coordinate testing activities including End-to-End validation.
• Report project status, risks and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Participate in strategic banking transformations.
