ManpowerGroup is seeking an Automation Engineer to join our international manufacturing environment. You will support and optimize automation, control, and process control systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to high availability and performance across production lines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external vendors, participation in modernization projects, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or technical qualification in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in automation engineering or related industrial roles.
• Recent graduates with relevant apprenticeship encouraged to apply.
• Experience with industrial automation systems and production equipment.
• Knowledge of OT, SCADA, EIC, and Siemens S7/PCS7/TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize automation, control, and process control systems in a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot automation-related issues and provide sustainable technical solutions
• Ensure high system availability, reliability, and operational performance
• Participate in automation, modernization, and digitalization projects
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external vendors
• Support maintenance activities and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Document technical changes, solutions, and system improvements

Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in automation engineering or a similar industrial role preferred
• Recent graduates with relevant apprenticeship or hands-on experience are also encouraged to apply
• Experience working with industrial automation systems and production equipment
• Knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
• OT (Operational Technology)
• SCADA systems
• E&IC (Electrical, Instrumentation & Control)
• Siemens S7, PCS7, or TIA Portal
• Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Fluent English is required
• German language skills are a strong advantage
