Jobtailor in Switzerland seeks an on-site Automation Engineer to design, develop, and integrate advanced automation solutions at customer sites. You will perform automation studies, draft specifications, and program Foxboro DCS and Siemens PLCs, including safety functions on Triconex systems.

The role requires hands-on commissioning, FAT/SAT tests, and updating technical docs while contributing to continuous improvement of libraries and templates. Fluent French and English (B2) are needed.

Qualifikationen

• Automation engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in automation projects in continuous or batch processes.
• Proficiency with Foxboro DCS, Siemens PLCs and Triconex safety systems.
• Familiarity with industrial protocols: Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, HART, OPC.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131, IEC 61511, IEC 61512.
• French fluency and English at least B2.
• Willingness to be on-call.

• Experience in automation projects within continuous or batch process industries
• Knowledge of Foxboro DCS, Siemens PLCs and Triconex safety systems
• Proficiency with industrial protocols (Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, HART, OPC)
• Good understanding of standards IEC 61131, IEC 61511, IEC 61512
• Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English (min. B2)
• Availability for on-call duties
