We are expanding our production capacity and seeking an Electrical / Automation Engineer to support development, optimization, and maintenance of automated manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize electrical and automation systems for production lines
• Develop and modify PLC programs (Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider or equivalent)
• Configure HMI/SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation faults
• Support commissioning of new equipment and production lines
• Develop preventive maintenance strategies for electrical and automation systems
• Create and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards and Swiss electrical regulations
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and quality engineering teams

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environment
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial networks
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics
• Knowledge of sensors, drives, servos, and safety systems
• Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills
• German and/or English proficiency
