Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Zurich seeks an experienced Specialist Air Export to ensure smooth, compliant operations for customers. You will implement customer-specific processes, manage administrative tasks with accuracy, and contribute to high-quality service.

The role requires freight forwarding training, export/DG coursework, and at least 2 years in export air freight. Strong English and German, team spirit, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed training in freight forwarding.
• Experience or trainings in export and DG (Dangerous Goods).
• min 2 years of professional experience in the export air freight sector.
• Efficient, fast and independent way of working.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Order processing and shipment registration.
• Organization of freight and customs handling, as well as export control.
• Preparation and monitoring of offers.
• Billing to customers.
• Processing of special orders and complaints.
• Supporting and advising customers and agents.
• Preparation of delivery bills and customs documents.
• Monitoring appointments.
• Maintenance of performance statistics for accounting.
• Documentation and optimization of workflows.
• Support of supervisors in projects.
• Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with laws where applicable.
