CASCINATION, a Swiss medical device company, seeks an AI leader to harmonize AI tools and drive company-wide AI workflows. You will own the AI infrastructure (cloud and on-premises), advise on regulatory and risk matters, and vet external AI components entering products or processes.

You will mentor teams, grow AI literacy, and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders, enabling production-ready AI solutions in a fast-paced medtech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML engineering or AI solution architecture
• A proven track record of taking at least one AI/ML solution from concept to real‑world production - not just a proof of concept
• Working knowledge of both cloud‑based and on‑premises or local AI infrastructure
• Sound understanding of AI governance and regulatory considerations, ideally within a regulated industry
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical depth into terms non‑technical stakeholders act on

Aufgaben

• Harmonize the different AI tools and initiatives already taking shape across teams into one coherent, company-wide approach
• Design and roll out new AI-driven workflows - using agents, skills, and similar methods - that put our AI strategy into practice
• Own the AI infrastructure - cloud and on-premises - that powers these workflows, from architecture through deployment
• Serve as the internal reference point for AI, advising projects on regulatory, compliance, and risk questions
• Vet and validate externally sourced AI components before they enter our products or processes
• Grow AI literacy across the organization through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on enablement
