Nexthink in Lausanne is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join the AI research team. You will build fast prototypes that test AI ideas and prove which ones can become products for Nexthink customers.

You don't need to be an AI researcher, but you should enjoy experimenting with AI tooling, mentoring peers, and designing scalable architectures that are easy to extend. This role offers a permanent contract, hybrid work, generous vacation, and relocation support, with a culture of innovation

Qualifikationen

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, system design and architecture.
• Experience taking an idea from prototype to production.
• Hands-on, code-first, comfortable with ambiguity and research-driven work.
• Obsessed with user experience and user journeys.
• Strong interest in AI and experimentation with AI tooling or LLMs.

Aufgaben

• Build advanced prototypes of AI-powered capabilities that are fast and usable.
• Build demos, run experiments and evaluations for user value.
• Make design and architecture calls to keep prototypes releasable.
• Experiment with new AI tools and share learnings with the AI community.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and ensure code quality.
