Nexthink, the leader in digital employee experience management, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Data Science in Lausanne to design and ship data products and pipelines powering its global data lake and analytics capabilities.

You will contribute end-to-end across the stack, mentoring engineers and data scientists while applying strong software engineering principles to data and ML workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer working on data-intensive systems, ideally with data science or ML exposure.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, CI/CD applied to data and ML workflows.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and building data lake infrastructure at scale.
• Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and standard data tooling (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Design & Ship Data Products–Architect, build, and ship data products and services from pipelines to APIs for internal and external users.
• Data Lake Infrastructure–Build and maintain the data lake and pipelines (e.g., Spark) for analytical and production use.
• Applied Data Science–Explore large-scale datasets to uncover patterns and inform system design.
• AI/ML Leverage–Use AI to enhance development and product quality.
• Collaboration & Leadership–Work with data engineers, ML engineers, and product teams across the stack.
