Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking an experienced AfterSales support specialist in Switzerland to manage level 1 technical support, warranty processes, and dealer interactions. The role involves on-site assistance during product launches and events, plus collaboration with field engineers and QA/R&D teams.

The candidate will plan dealer visits, run training sessions, and create e-learning content while ensuring compliance with country regulations and EU requirements. A valid EU driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• HV systems certificates and automotive training are required.
• 3+ years in a similar automotive/E-mobility role.
• Excellent written and verbal German and English communication.
• EU driver license and eligibility to work in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 technical support and warranty process backing to the dealer network.
• Plan dealer visits, meetings, workshops, and after-sales project execution.
• Collaborate with level 2 field engineers and warranty experts.
• Create and deliver online trainings, e-learnings, webinars, and tutorials.
• Coordinate with QA and R&D; support product launches on site.
• Pre-approve dealer warranty repair requests and analyze tickets for quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the level 1 technical support and warranty process (as back up) support to the network. That includes managing technical dealer tickets, sometimes trouble shooting on site, including process training, to ensure best in class customer satisfaction
• Planning and organizing regular dealer visits, meetings, workshops, and other activities with regional partners. Be responsible for the after-sales projects development, execution, and assessment.
• Work closely together with the level 2 field engineers and the level 2 warranty expert
• Create and hold online training sessions when necessary and support creation of e-learnings and or webinars and tutorial videos
• Work closely together with the quality department and R&D department
• Ensure on site support during product launches, fairs and other events where product support is required.
• Perform technical pre-approvals for particular dealer warranty repair requests.
• Support analytics of tickets and trouble shooting to identify quality issues and identify the best resolution methods

Qualifications

• Strong automotive technical background including all required certificates to work on HV systems, ideally gained through real workshop experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role in automotive/ E-mobility within importer or OEM.
• Organized with communication skills and an understanding of differences between countries, cultures, regulations. Self-learning, the ability to discover and solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German language and English is a must.
• French and/or Italian language skills are a clear asset.
• High-level attention to details, time management and accuracy. Proficient PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Must hold a valid driver license for EU and candidates must be eligible to work in Europe.
