A leading printing and packaging company located in Delta is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role requires a Red Seal Certification and 5+ years of manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will manage preventative maintenance, collaborate with production teams, and lead various safety initiatives. Schedule:
Rotation 1 (Days):
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday → 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Every other Saturday → 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Rotation 2 (Nights):
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday → 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Every other Saturday → 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary:$46.16/hour
When your actions lead to success:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment (presses, machinery, etc.)
Perform preventative maintenance (lubrication, inspections, wear checks)
Support continuous improvement and change initiatives
Collaborate with production teams, managers, and suppliers
Participate in safety and communication meetings
Uphold 5S workplace organization and health & safety standards
Provide coaching and leadership to peers as needed
When your expertise drives us:
Red Seal Certification (Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, or Machinist)
High School diploma or GED
5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (Journeyman level)
Strong knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Welding (CWB certified – strong asset)
Print industry or HVAC experience (asset)
Safety training: Fall Protection, Confined Space, WHMIS
Valid operator certificates: Forklift, Scissor Lift, Genie Boom
Comfortable with 12-hour rotating continental shifts (day & night)
Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
