A regional school district is seeking Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) employees who will assist a Designated Early Childhood Educator in providing support to students in junior kindergarten to grade 6. Responsibilities include fostering positive interactions, ensuring health and safety, and facilitating children's exploration through play. Candidates should hold a high school diploma and have experience in supervising children in a safe environment.

The Waterloo Region District School Board is currently seeking applications for Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) employees. The Board encourages all qualified applicants interested in this opportunity to apply.
B.A.S.S. employees will work alongside a Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) to support play‑based programming for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6 who are registered in WRDSB’s Before and After school program to provide general student supervision.
Applications and supporting documentation stating qualifications and experience, and proof of Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED must be included in your portfolio.
The Successful Candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check including the Vulnerable Sector, which must be received in Human Resources prior to the commencement of employment. Please note, the Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Reference Check.
Social Insurance Number (SIN), date of birth, and proof of educational qualifications will be required at the time of an offer of employment.
