As a Senior Cybersecurity Sales Specialist, you’ll be at the center of innovation, driving change and delivering results that matter. Your consultative approach will help clients see beyond technology and understand how cybersecurity is the key to unlocking their potential.

What you’ll do
  • Executive Engagement & Strategic Consultation: Build trusted relationships with senior executives (CIO, CISO, CEO, CFO) to understand their goals and challenges. Lead cybersecurity posture assessments to identify risks and opportunities. Position TELUS as a strategic advisor, showcasing how our solutions drive business transformation.
  • Strategic Sales & Business Development: Own and grow Cybersecurity accounts in Quebec’s Public Sector and Enterprise segments. Collaborate with high-performing field account teams to uncover new opportunities. Deliver compelling presentations and tailored solutions to meet client needs. Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals. Lead RFP responses and contract negotiations with precision. Navigate procurement processes to maximize market potential, especially in public sector accounts.
  • Value Creation & Solution Consulting: Identify areas where TELUS Security can add value and address specific business needs. Focus on consulting, outsourcing, staff augmentation, and managed services. Demonstrate ROI and business impact to executive stakeholders. Partner with internal teams (Sales Executives, Solution Architects, Product Management) to deliver exceptional results. Represent TELUS as a trusted brand ambassador in the cybersecurity space.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5-7 years managing large, complex accounts in the cybersecurity industry. Proven sales expertise in Mid-Market/Enterprise/Public Sector accounts.
  • Skills: Consultative selling, executive engagement, and translating technical requirements into business value.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and solutions like Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, and IAM.
  • Language: Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will regularly interact in English with external parties and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in French: Written and spoken required.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
