JOB SUMMARY

Silvaco is seeking an application engineer to join our IP team. You will be part of a geographically distributed team of highly skilled engineers supporting and developing products within the Design IP group. This role involves significant communication with customers, application engineers, sales, product engineers, and external partners. Some travel and trade show participation are expected. • Providing professional and timely technical support to customers
• Assisting ASIC customers with IP selection based on product requirements
• Supporting customers and design teams with IP design integration, both logical and physical
• Assisting with hardware testing and debug for internal development platforms
• Contributing to development efforts
• Gathering feedback from customers

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
• Knowledge of Verilog RTL (VHDL is a bonus)
• Self-driven and motivated
• Mandarin language skills are preferred
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with a commitment to integrity and professionalism
• Experience with major EDA synthesis and logic simulation tools
• Strong understanding of ASIC design concepts and flow
• Experience with IP/SOC design, integration, verification, prototyping, and silicon support
• Comfortable working with third-party teams
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000–$120,000, determined by role, experience, and location. Compensation may include equity, bonuses, commissions, and other benefits.
