A national housing corporation in Canada seeks a Senior Specialist in Credit Risk and Financial Analysis. In this role, you will provide expert financial assessments, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with external clients to ensure effective credit risk management. The ideal candidate has over seven years of experience in financial risk management, strong analytical skills, and an undergraduate degree in a relevant field. We are seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Multi-Unit Borrower Financial Analysis team. In this role, you will identify, analyze, and assess the risks on large borrowers and provide a recommendation on CMHC’s continued insurance business.
The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, mentoring and coaching junior team members, and providing guidance on complex financial analyses and credit reviews. You will also work closely with external clients, reviewing borrower financials, and preparing recommendations for credit committee approval.
