Position

The duties of the Landscape Services Supervisor are as follows:

· Onsite supervision of daily operations and assigned staff to ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, with a high level of quality and within budgets.

· Lead and supervise site crews to ensure construction projects are carried out according to design plans and specifications.

· Establish work schedules and oversee crews to ensure production, quality and safety standards are met.

· Direct personnel and resources toward providing quality, efficient services to clients.

· Work with management to plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts.

Prepare and submit various progress reports and completion of man hours to management daily including:
· Supervise onsite production for our high-quality services. Executing all projects using Rockhill’s best practices, working efficiently and safely at all times.

· Communicate effectively with client, vendors, and senior management.

Train and oversee crew members in job duties, company policies, and safety standards.
· Co-ordinate craning & deliveries.

Implement Irrigation (system start up, head layout & controller).
Understand project scope & labor budgets and track all purchases for ongoing projects.
Weekly completion of machine maintenance.
· Ensure all employees are provided with necessary training and safety requirements and tools, equipment and materials to complete tasks efficiently.

· Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures, including equipment care, safety programs, and general productivity and behavior expectations.

Identify and work with senior management team to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
Tracking of purchases and
· Ensure thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness of all field communication.

· May be required to assist crew to perform landscape maintenance duties as needed.

Requirements

The job requirements for Landscape Services Supervisor are as follows:

· At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position within the landscape construction industry.

Proficient excavator operation
· Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally, be able to bend, stoop and twist continuously.

· Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions both in the winter and summer months.

· Excellent customer service approach is required.

· Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication.

· Ability to follow safety practices and policies.

Awareness of plants and horticulture
· Strong attention to detail and high organizational skills.
