A national museum is seeking a Head of Finance Policies, Procedures and Budgeting. This role involves developing financial policies, managing the budget, and providing training on finance procedures. The ideal candidate should have a university degree and a professional accounting designation, alongside extensive experience in financial controls and management. Bilingualism in English and French is essential for this position.
ME-07 - $93,418 to $114,572 per year

The Head, Finance Policies, Procedures and Budgeting develops and implements policies and procedures related to finance and procurement, develops and provides ongoing training and support to Museum staff regarding finance procedures and policies, assists with development and oversight of appropriate internal controls, and assists with the compilation and maintenance of the Museum’s budget and forecast models and data integrity.

Education and training:
Completion of a University degree, in a field relevant to financial management. This can be a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Accounting, a master’s in Business Administration, or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
