Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

1. Prepare and review T1 (personal), T2 (corporate), and T3 (trust) tax returns.
2. Compile year-end financial statements with accuracy and efficiency.
3. Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for client accounting and reporting.
4. Perform tax planning and support reorganizations under senior guidance.
5. Manage multiple client accounts and deadlines with professionalism.
6. Conduct research on complex tax issues to ensure compliance and optimal solutions.
7. Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
8. Collaborate with clients to resolve queries, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.

1. 3-5 years of practical experience in a public accounting office.
2. A degree in accounting/taxation from a university or equivalent program with a minimum B+ average.
3. CPA designation (or enrollment in CPA or equivalent accounting/taxation education).
4. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and tax/accounting software such as MS Office, Profile, and CaseWare.
5. Expertise in preparing T1s, T2s, and T3s, as well as year-end compilations.
6. A fast-learning mindset with strong research and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
8. A strong sense of ethics, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
