Job summary
A community support organization in Hamilton seeks Direct Support Facilitators to assist clients in group living settings. This role involves providing social, recreational, and learning activities while ensuring client safety and well-being. Candidates should possess a relevant degree or diploma, experience with developmental disabilities, and certifications in NVCI and First Aid/CPR. The organization also values candidates with additional language skills and diverse experiences.
Qualifications
- Two years of recent experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Valid certifications in NVCI and First Aid/CPR.
- Ability to develop Person Directed Plans/Individual Support Plans.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in group living settings.
- Develop and implement social, recreational, and learning activities.
- Ensure safety and wellness of clients and staff.
