A leading childcare center in Vancouver is seeking full-time Early Childhood Educators to foster children's development through innovative programs. Successful candidates will create engaging activities and support children's social skills in a safe and nurturing environment. Join a passionate team dedicated to educating and caring for children. Experience is considered an asset, but a college diploma in early childhood education is required.
Qualificações
- Experience in childcare is an asset.
- Certification in early childhood education is required.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and implement child-care programs for children’s development.
- Conduct activities like reading stories and teaching songs.
- Maintain a healthy and secure daycare environment.
Conhecimentos
Formação académica
· Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
· Wage: $22.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
· Number of Positions: 3
Job Duties:
· Develop and implement child-care programs that foster the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
· Plan and conduct activities by reading stories and teaching songs
· Set up rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and prepare snacks
· Prepare reports for parents and supervisors regarding children’s behavioural issues and potential learning
· Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and toilet habits.
· Maintain daycare environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
· Help children to express the creativities and find interests through art, music, play and physical activities
Job requirements:
· Experience: Experience is an asset
· Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
