Horst Systems is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Labourer in Elmira, Ontario to support daily yard and warehouse operations. You will unload, sort, stage, and load materials for field and manufacturing teams, and work closely with the Yard/Warehouse Supervisor to keep inventory organized and deliveries on schedule.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or with a team outdoors.
Department: Operations (Logistics, Fleet & Warehouse)
Reports to: Parts Coordinator (with functional direction from Senior Manager of Operations)
Classification: Permanent-Full-time, hourly
Hours of Work: 50 Hours per week, Monday – Friday
Location: 290 Union Street Elmira Ontario
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Compensation: $20-$26/hour + health care spending account + pension plan + eligibility for year end bonus
Target Start Date: August 2026
Here’s What You’ll Do: The Yard/Warehouse Labourer plays an important role in supporting Horst Systems’ daily yard and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for unloading, sorting, staging, and loading materials that support both field and manufacturing teams. Working closely with the Yard/Warehouse Supervisor and Operations team, the Yard Labourer helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment that enables smooth jobsite deliveries and effective inventory flow.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. The role involves physical work, outdoor activity, and close attention to safety and organization.
