Job summary

Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited in Ontario is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate to carry out assigned tasks efficiently, meet quality standards, and achieve production targets. The role requires following established procedures, maintaining open communication with colleagues and supervisors, and demonstrating reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates in a friendly professional manner with internal staff and customers
  • Operates and maintains company vehicles and equipment safely
  • Follow all regulations, including circle checks and pre-use inspections
  • Assist drivers and customers to load and unload materials
  • Pre-pick inventory and equipment for deliveries
  • Ensure the yard is kept clean and garbage picked up
  • Prepares accurate paperwork and records
  • Assist with inventory levels and periodic checks
  • Ensure materials are in the proper locations and kept organized
  • Assist technicians with equipment fueling, washing, and housekeeping
  • Assist with snow removal around the Cavanagh complex
  • Assist with tasks requested by other department heads
  • Ensure all fire extinguishers located outside are inspected monthly
  • All other day-to-day activities/requests

Overview:

This individual is responsible for carrying out assigned tasks/responsibilities efficiently and effectively. They will meet quality standards and production targets set by the organization. Finally, they will show punctuality and reliability in fulfilling work obligations.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $26.00 and $27.00 per hour. However, the range offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
