Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is hiring for a yard/warehouse associate in Oshawa. You will load, unload, and secure equipment, operate a forklift, and keep the yard clean and organized. You’ll assist with inventory, deliveries, and site fence setups while following safety policies and collaborating with teammates.

The role requires a valid G license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with outdoor work year-round. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G driver’s license with clean/satisfactory abstract (≤3 demerit points).
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
• Outdoor work year-round, with overtime when required.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, customer-service oriented and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment/material, secure for transport.
• Set up and dismantle fence on customers’ sites.
• Organize equipment/material in yard and warehouse; assist with inventory control.
• Operate forklift and maintain clean, organized yard and wash bay area.
• Wash equipment with pressure washers and other tools; inspect for damage.
• Report damage and fill service tags for returned equipment.
• Assist with deliveries if needed; follow health and safety policies.
• Communicate with team and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
