Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op in Eckville is seeking a part-time Yard Attendant to keep the yard orderly, assist with order preparation, and ensure safe operation of equipment. The role supports daily customer service and team logistics in a rural co-op environment.

Responsibilities include safe forklift use, FIFO inventory handling, and timely order preparation. Available weekdays and weekends with mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset.
• Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire.
• Experience running a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.

Yard Attendant

Part-time

24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability

Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
