Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a Part-time Farm Centre Associate for Spruce View Farm Centre. The role involves greeting customers, stocking and labeling products, and assisting with orders and receiving goods. Weekdays and weekends shifts are available, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Eligible for benefits after 3 months.

Applicants should have strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ages 14+ can apply with required permit.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• AG/Animal health experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
• Applicants must be over 14 years old. Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under.

Responsibilities

• Label products, including signage, pricing, and product numbers
• Order products as required within guidelines and create purchase orders

Position:

Farm Centre Associate

Part-time:

24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:

Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
