Job summary

Insight Medical Imaging is seeking X Ray Technologists for a permanent, part-time role with rotation across 16 locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The company offers paid vacation, sick days and flex days, plus RRSP matching.

The duties include preparing and performing radiographic procedures, operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and infection control, and supporting training of new staff.

Qualifications

• Clinical competency in medical radiography.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs a variety of standardized and/or complex procedures as set forth by the Radiologists and referring Physicians.
• Responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of all equipment.
• DI Equipment: Must have working knowledge of all equipment and ensure all units are functioning correctly.
• Responsible for maintaining safety and the general care and cleanliness of the radiographic area, with particular attention to radiation safety and infection control.
• Knowledge of computer systems and all DI office duties.
• Assist in the training of new staff and students, as requested by MGM.
• Willingness to cross train in BD, Fluoroscopy and ECG’s.

Insight is currently seeking X Ray Technologists to join our dynamic and expanding team. This is a permanent, part-time position with rotation across our 16 locations in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

• Completion of Medication Preparation training within the first three months of employment
• CLXT: Enrolment in Bone Densitometry course within first three months of employment and completion within first 6 months of employment.
• MRT: Completion of Bone Densitometry training within the first 3 months of employment.
• CPR Standard First aid certificate is an asset.
