The National Research Council Canada is seeking an X-Ray Characterization Facility Coordinator for their Quantum and Nanotechnologies Research Centre. This full-time role involves handling daily operations of the X-Ray facility, supporting research projects, and ensuring equipment functionality. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in a relevant field and experience with X-ray characterization techniques, as well as a collaborative spirit to join a dynamic research environment.

The Role
We are looking for an X-Ray Characterization Facility Coordinator to support our Quantum and Nanotechnologies (QN) Research Centre. The incumbent would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The successful candidate will provide technical support and systems oversight in the day-to-day operations of the X-Ray Characterization Facility and will contribute to research projects and capability developments.
Key activities include :
The successful candidate will also provide back-up support for other physico-chemical characterization techniques. The successful candidate will perform both facilities work and project work in equal measure.

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates :
Education
Post-secondary degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
College diploma in relevant subject combined with significant relevant experience may also be considered.

Compensation
From $66,126to $91,012per annum.
