Job summary

City of Toronto’s Children’s Services division seeks a Workforce Associate to support workforce planning and program delivery. The role analyzes labour market data, coordinates staffing and onboarding, and liaises with divisions and external partners to strengthen workforce capacity.

You will contribute to budget governance, data reporting, and learning initiatives within a dynamic team focused on equitable, accessible child care services for Toronto families.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering or supporting HR strategies including recruitment, design, and planning.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR software such as SAP or SuccessFactors.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and discretion with sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce resourcing, onboarding, and staffing processes.
• Analyze labour market data to inform workforce planning and programs.
• Coordinate employee development, training, and performance processes.
• Gather data from internal sources for tracking and reporting.
