The City of Winnipeg is seeking a permanent, full-time Worker’s Compensation Clerk in the Transit department. Based at 421 Osborne St., you will support workers’ compensation, MPI claims, and related timekeeping, entering injury data in PeopleSoft and coordinating with third parties. This role requires strong organization, confidentiality, and precise recordkeeping.
You will work 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with potential flexible arrangements.

Reporting to the Senior Payroll Clerk, the Worker's Compensation Clerk provides administrative support for workers' compensation, MPI claims, and related timekeeping functions. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, collecting and verifying information, performing calculations, and corresponding with third-party providers and management regarding worker abilities. Additionally, the Worker's Compensation Clerk enters injury and incident data within PeopleSoft, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
