Please Note: This role requires US Payroll processing experience with Workday.

Workday Payroll Processing Consultants are responsible for processing payroll for our clients using Workday. They are self-starters with an interest in building a strong career in Consulting, Human Resources, Finance or Information Technology. The role provides impeccable customer service to clients and builds strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • The Payroll Processor will be responsible for providing Workday payroll settlement services to our clients.
  • Utilize your Workday experience to design, configure, test, and implement Workday Payroll Processing solutions.
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Assess client needs and propose recommendations and/or alternative solutions to meet client goals. Advise clients on best practices, recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
  • Assist clients in testing Workday configuration, provide knowledge transfer, and develop documentation as applicable.
  • Use the company's methodology and processes to implement solutions successfully while remaining agile and flexible to clients' changing needs.
  • Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.
  • Consult and execute with limited supervision on deliverables/projects across multiple, concurrent clients.
  • Complete deliverables within prescribed timelines. Ask for support and direction and/or report status to appropriate team members as it relates to project issues.
  • Troubleshoot business processes, calculated fields, business logic, file loads and configuration.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
  • Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions from team members to solve client needs.
  • Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
  • Demonstrate Kognitiv's core value, "act like an owner", in all aspects of work.

Qualifications

  • 2 years US Payroll Processing using Workday is needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction; strong customer focus with the ability to build relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated with initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects and deliverables.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Capable of working within remote teams and alongside clients, as well as on individual tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
