Job summary

Ben-Mor Cables Inc. in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Wire Rope Splicer - Rigger to join our on-site maintenance team. The role focuses on splicing cables and manufacturing wire rope slings to meet exact specifications, while following ISO and safety standards.

You will operate hydraulic presses, read imperial and metric measurements, and participate in training for new staff. A high school diploma and physical fitness are required; cable-splicing experience is an asset.

Your role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for splicing cables and manufacturing wire rope slings according to required specifications, while adhering to work procedures and deadlines. The person also operates hydraulic presses.
