Job summary

Hercules Group of Companies in Calgary, AB is seeking a full-time Rigger Technician to support the creation and preparation of critical rigging solutions across Canada. This hands-on role emphasizes precision, safety, and learning a specialized trade within a team that values quality and people.

You’ll measure, cut, swage, splice, and test wire rope assemblies, operate presses and load-testing equipment, and fabricate custom slings from job specs.

Qualifications

• Experience in rigging, fabrication, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or similar physical work is an asset.
• Right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, swage, splice, and test high-strength wire rope assemblies.
• Operate mechanical presses, cut-off saws, and load-testing equipment.
• Read job specs to fabricate custom slings and rigging hardware.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys hands‑on, physical work
• Has a strong mechanical aptitude

• Can read a tape measure and follow instructions accurately

Experience in rigging, fabrication, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or other physical work environments is an asset, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
