Job summary

Les Câbles Ben-Mor inc. is hiring a Wire Rope Splicer - Rigger to join our on-site production team. You will splice cabling, manufacture wire rope slings, and operate hydraulic presses to meet exact specs. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will follow procedures, complete production reports, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Experience with steel cables is an asset; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to read measurements (imperial and metric).
• Experience using measuring tools like a vernier caliper is preferred.
• High attention to detail and manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Splice cables and manufacture wire rope slings according to specifications.
• Operate hydraulic presses and follow procedures and deadlines.
• Complete production reports and document safety/quality checks.
• Inform supervisor of non-conformities or equipment damage.
• Assist in training new employees and uphold ISO standards.
