Job summary

The Miller Group in Ontario is seeking Snow Plow Operators to join our winter maintenance team. You will safely operate a combo plow unit on local roads and highways, and you will complete essential documentation such as fuel and safety reports.

You may perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed, and you will learn route maps and salt application rates to meet call-in requirements during winter events.

Qualifications

• DZ or AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract & CVOR required.
• Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes.
• Ability to operate a loader and perform maintenance duties.
• Willingness to work long shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a combo plow unit to remove snow on local roads and highways.
• Maintain accurate documentation: fuel reports, safety reports and hours of service.
• Inspect, clean and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Familiarize yourself with route maps and salt/sand application rates; meet call-in requirements.
