Job summary

Mackenzie Investments is seeking an intern for winter term 2027 (January–April) in Winnipeg or Toronto. The role supports business architecture priorities under supervision, with a 37.5-hour work week and full-time eligibility for the term.

Eligible undergraduate students returning to school, strong teamwork and communication skills, and familiarity with AI tools are welcomed. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office is in place, and base salary is prorated for the term.

Qualifications

• Available to work full-time Monday to Friday during standard business hours.
• Registered student returning to school in a related field (BCom, BA, BSc, etc.).
• Ability to work well in a team and strong interpersonal and judgment skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication with the project team.
• Familiarity with AI tools and responsible use.
• Hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply business architecture practices by supporting capabilities, processes, value streams, and operating models.
• Gather, organize, and summarize business information from meetings, documents, and stakeholder discussions.
• Help create clear visuals, summaries, and working documents that simplify complex topics.
• Support creation and upkeep of reusable templates, reference materials, and team knowledge assets.
• Assist with team coordination activities, including meeting preparation, note-taking, action tracking, and follow-ups.
