Job summary

Mackenzie Investments invites undergraduate students to join our winter internship in Toronto from January to April 2027. This full-time program requires 37.5 hours per week, with three days in the office and two remote days.

You will support leadership meetings, communications, and reporting; create insights from data; and help coordinate onboarding and employee engagement activities using GenAI and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Communications, Human Resources, Technology Management, or related field.
• Interest in business operations, corporate communications, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic, volunteer, extracurricular, or work-related activities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects concurrently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with an ability to work with data and generate insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations, reports, and business communications.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Interest in leveraging AI and digital productivity tools to improve communications and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Leadership Meetings and Events.
• Assist with Communications and internal content.
• Create Reports and Insights from data.
• Leverage GenAI and Microsoft 365 tools to summarize meetings and create presentations.
• Support Onboarding and Employee Engagement activities.
• Maintain Team Collaboration Sites and knowledge repositories.
• Contribute to Business Planning and Operations and monitor progress against goals.
