Job summary

Mackenzie Investments in Toronto is offering a winter-term internship (January–April 2027) to support the Infrastructure Security & Ops Team. You will help develop datasets, models, and reports to understand business needs and meet strategic objectives, gaining practical experience in AI and data science.

The 37.5 hour work week runs Monday through Friday, with eligibility for full-time work throughout the term. Enrolled undergraduates returning to school after the internship may apply.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business or technology post-secondary program.
• Pro-active, problem-solving attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environments.
• Desire to always make things better.
• Keep abreast of developments in field and new techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Understanding of testing practices.
• Well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus will be on ad-hoc projects or support of organizational projects in-flight.
• Produce documentation, e.g., how-to guides, communication.
• Analysis of documents, datasets.
• Coordinate activities, meetings, tasks with internal team members.
• Data analysis of semi-structured data.
