Job summary

IG Wealth Management is hiring a Business Systems Analyst Intern for a winter term (January–April 2027) in Winnipeg. You must be enrolled in an undergraduate program and plan to return to school after the internship.

The role is full-time for 37.5 hours/week, with the Corporate Platform — Financial Systems Pod delivering Finance, Sustainability and Audit solutions. You will work with teams to deliver technology solutions and build AI agents and automations.

Responsibilities

• Gain the business and technical knowledge required to complete tasks and implement solutions meeting business requirements.
• Investigate system issues to determine cause and evaluate options.
• Liaise with stakeholders to understand objectives and solution requirements.
• Collaborate with technology teams to understand problems and formulate solutions.
• Author system documentation to support development and testing.
• Author instructional documentation to improve internal processes.
• Perform hands‑on configuration of systems (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, Jira).
• Assist in designing, building and testing AI agents and workflow automations using Copilot Studio or Power Platform.
• Evaluate where generative AI can reduce manual effort and document outcomes.
• Prepare and validate prompts, knowledge sources and test cases for AI‑assisted solutions.
