Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is offering winter maintenance opportunities across Ontario. We are seeking DZ or AZ licensed drivers to operate snowplows, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment to keep Ontario highways safe.

This is a on-site, union position with strong safety culture and opportunities for premium pay and benefits. Work involves 5 on/2 off or 6 on/1 off schedules, 8–12 hour shifts, Oct 1 to Apr 30.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to perform demanding tasks incl. lifting 50 lbs
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
• Previous snow plow truck or wheel loader experience is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplows, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment
• Maintain Ontario highways year-round including labourer duties
• Work outside in all weather conditions
