Job summary

Ledcor Highways is hiring for road maintenance across Ontario, requiring AZ or DZ licenses and experience with snow plows or wheel loaders. Jobs involve long shifts, outdoor work in all weather, and potential camp accommodations with meal allowances in select locations.

Wages range from $25.50 to $33.50 per hour, with union backing and comprehensive benefits. Local applicants are preferred; positions are site-based with 8–12 hour days and rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract.
• Previous experience operating a snow plow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplows, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including Labourer duties such as pothole repair, guardrail repair, and signage cleaning.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
