Our Accounting Internship Program, available at our Toronto office, provides invaluable hands‑on experience and serves as a direct pathway to our CPA Development Program. This opportunity is ideal for undergraduate students eager to acquire real‑world experience in accounting and finance. Position Responsibilities
  • Provide support and handle aspects of reporting while understanding monthly and quarterly deliverables.
  • Prepare monthly reports including analysis related to job functions.
  • Meet with leaders to review submissions and highlight possible risks and opportunities while taking initiative to elevate issues impacting reporting functions.
  • Support month‑end production and reporting work, including journal entries, budgets, adjustments, actuals to budget analysis, consolidating reporting packages.
  • Gain proficiency in investigating financial ledgers, statements, and journals using various software tools and Excel.
  • Acquire expertise in accounting practices, including reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts, all while adhering to corporate standards.
  • Lead the continuous improvements of existing reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting, with a strong interest in finance and economics and a solid foundation in general business principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, along with exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, capable of working both independently and as part of a team while exercising sound judgment.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, effectively prioritizing tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to identify and recommend improvements to streamline existing processes.
  • Supports the development and implementation of new processes.
  • Responds to challenges and opportunities with a positive and productive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Access and Visual Basic is required for some roles.

Salary range is expected to be between: $40,950.00 CAD - $56,550.00 CAD The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro‑rated based on the length of the work‑term. #LI-Hybrid
