Job summary

First Estate Winery Ltd in Peachland, BC is hiring Harvesting labourers for permanent full-time roles. The positions require self-motivation and good interpersonal skills; training is provided and employment starts as soon as possible.

Duties include cleaning the crop, selecting row and orchard crops, writing daily progress notes, cleaning the work area, sorting and packing fruits and vegetables, and loading/unloading crates and supplies.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• No formal education required.
• Training will be provided.
• Farm operation is viticulture.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crop area.
• Select row and orchard crops.
• Write basic progress reports daily.
• Clean the work area.
• Sort and pack fruits and vegetables.
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock and poultry.
