Job summary

Harris is seeking an IT Support Specialist to coordinate and deploy IT equipment for new hires and staff. You will work with hiring managers to order and activate mobile devices, manage hardware purchases, and maintain accurate asset records.

You will deploy new computers, support desktop configurations, and provide high-level end-user support for both on-site and remote staff. The role requires strong Windows 11 knowledge, experience with Intune/Jamf, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Windows and MacOS systems, with preference for Intune and Jamf.
• Bilingual in English and French, able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong Windows 11 knowledge; capable of diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience supporting meeting-room AV and collaboration tech (Teams Rooms, displays, cameras, mics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork and customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT equipment deployment for new hires and existing staff.
• Manage ordering/activation of mobile phones with vendors; resolve order issues.
• Handle purchasing requests for computers and peripherals; maintain documentation and inventory.
• Create requisitions and purchase orders in the hardware system; track stock and shipments.
• Create shipping labels and monitor orders from placement to delivery.
• Investigate shipping delays; ensure PO matches shipments.
• Assist with inventory control and asset tracking; redeploy equipment as needed.
• Provide high-level desktop support and document deployment procedures.
• Field incoming technical support requests from local and remote users; deliver excellent service.
• Support meeting-room AV and collaboration tech; assist with setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain incident management system for problem histories and resolutions.
• Participate in special projects and administrative tasks.
