Job summary

Canadian Inclusion is seeking a Desktop Deployment Specialist (Administrative) to coordinate daily IT equipment deployment for new hires, manage orders, and ensure accurate asset documentation. You will collaborate with the Procurement Team on redeployments and basic repairs, while delivering high-quality desktop support and AV troubleshooting.

The role requires 1+ years of Windows/MacOS deployment experience, Intune/Jamf familiarity, and bilingual English/French communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience deploying Windows and MacOS computers, with Intune and Jamf preferred.
• Bilingual in English and French with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting meeting-room audio/visual and collaboration technology.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving technical skills.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM ticketing systems and ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment of IT equipment for new hires with hiring managers.
• Order and activate mobile phones for staff with vendors.
• Create requisitions and purchase orders for hardware stock.
• Create shipping labels and track orders from placement to delivery.
• Investigate shipping delays and verify PO against shipments.
• Assist inventory control and asset tracking.
• Provide high-level desktop support and document deployment procedures.
• Field tech support for local and remote end users.
• Support meeting-room AV and collaboration tech occasionally.
• Maintain incident management system for problem histories.
• Participate in special projects and admin tasks.
• Collaborate with Procurement for asset redeployments and repairs.
