Job summary

LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is actively recruiting a full-time Winch Truck Operator to join our team. The role requires operating winch trucks, performing pre-start checks, and adhering to schedules set by Dispatch & Supervision.

Duties include hauling cargo, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety on job sites while navigating daily changes in scope. Rotational shifts including days and nights are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 license.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years on/off highway driving.
• Must have equipment hauling experience.
• Must have winch truck operating experience.
• Must have experience with 32- and 40-wheel configurations.
• Availability to work rotational shifts, including days and nights.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance.
• Solid communication skills.
• Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work.
• Acceptable driver’s abstract.
