Job summary

CAPSTAN Hauling, a member of LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies, is recruiting a Class 1 Driver to join its growing logistics team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. You will haul bulk materials, perform pre-operational checks, operate loading equipment, and adhere to Dispatch schedules while promoting safety.

The role requires a valid Class 1 license, 3–5 years on/off highway experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts including days and nights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
• 3–5 years on/off highway driving experience.
• Availability to work rotational shifts; including days and nights.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance.
• Solid communication skills.
• Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work.
• Acceptable drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

• Haul various bulk commodity materials.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.
• Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervision.
• Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time.
• Promote CAPSTAN’S safety culture and adhere to HSE policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Perform other duties as required.
