Job summary

Yates & Co. in Vancouver, BC is seeking an organized, detail-oriented team member for an in-person role supporting the Sales team and operations.

You will manage PO creation, data entry, and showroom activities, gaining hands-on access to the fashion industry from the inside out. You’ll build retailer relationships, handle returns and exchanges, prepare weekly reports, and help craft marketing materials using Canva or Photoshop.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in the fashion wholesale industry.
• Strong numeracy and high accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; an assessment will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and send purchase orders to brands and customers.
• Enter and maintain product data and customer information across internal systems.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and credits with accuracy and in adherence to company policies.
• Update order details to reflect brand changes and track showroom inventory.
• Distribute weekly reports to support the sales team.
• Prepare sample shipments and keep the showroom ready for visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers in person, by email, and by phone.
• Assist with marketing materials using Canva or Photoshop.

Operations & Data

• Create, verify, and send purchase orders to brands and customers
• Enter and maintain product data and customer information across internal systems
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and credits with accuracy and in adherence to company policies
• Update order details to reflect brand changes
• Distribute weekly reports to support the sales team
• Perform stock reconciliation and process immediate orders from stock
• Maintain and update styles, orders, and PO details across systems
• Track, organize and prepare sample shipments to keep the showroom sales-ready

Customer Service & Sales

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers in person, by email, and by phone
• Problem solve general customer service inquiries
• Confirm and schedule showroom appointments by phone and email
• Create marketing materials and mass communications using Canva, Photoshop, or similar programs

What You Bring

• Adaptable and calm under pressure - you can pivot quickly and handle whatever the day throws at you
• 1-4 years of experience in the industry
• Strong numeracy and accuracy in data entry with high attention to detail - You catch errors before they become problems
• Medium to high proficiency in Excel (an assessment will be conducted)
