Job summary

Yates & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations & Data professional for our Toronto showroom. This full-time, in-person role supports the sales team, manages order processing, data entry, and stock reconciliation in a fast-paced wholesale environment.

You will create POs, maintain product and customer data, process returns, and support showroom scheduling while building strong retailer relationships. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Adaptable and calm under pressure, able to pivot quickly.
• 1–4 years of industry experience.
• Strong numeracy and data-entry accuracy.
• Medium to high proficiency in Excel (assessment planned).
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and send purchase orders to brands and customers.
• Enter and maintain product data and customer information across internal systems.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and credits accurately.
• Update order details to reflect brand changes.
• Distribute weekly reports to support the sales team.
• Maintain stock reconciliation and process immediate orders from stock.
• Track, organize and prepare sample shipments to keep showroom sales-ready.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers in person, by email, and by phone.
• Confirm and schedule showroom appointments by phone and email.
• Create marketing materials using Canva, Photoshop, or similar programs.

Operations & Data

• Create, verify, and send purchase orders to brands and customers
• Enter and maintain product data and customer information across internal systems
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and credits with accuracy and in adherence to company policies
• Update order details to reflect brand changes
• Distribute weekly reports to support the sales team
• Perform stock reconciliation and process immediate orders from stock
• Maintain and update styles, orders, and PO details across systems
• Track, organize and prepare sample shipments to keep the showroom sales-ready

Customer Service & Sales

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers in person, by email, and by phone
• Problem solve general customer service inquiries
• Confirm and schedule showroom appointments by phone and email
• Create marketing materials and mass communications using Canva, Photoshop, or similar programs

What You Bring

• Strong numeracy and accuracy in data entry with high attention to detail - You catch errors before they become problems
