Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies in Golden, BC is seeking friendly kitchen staff for seasonal roles. You will prepare, cook, and plate food to high quality and presentation standards, while maintaining a hygienic and safe environment.

We offer a competitive wage of $20.15-$23.05/hour, mountain access staff pass, discounts on food, rentals, and accommodations, plus year-round employee events and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a professional dining setting.
• A genuine passion for food and cooking.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Prepare, cook, and plate food to established qualityand presentation standards.
• Ensure that food is received, stored, handled andprepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Assist with inventory and menu development asneeded.
• Maintain effective communication through restaurantand with teammates.
• Promote a safe, sanitized work environment,ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management.
• Participate in orientation, team meetings, regularcleaning, and season-end clean and close procedures.
• A genuine passion for food and a love of cooking
• The physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, perform manual tasks, andstand for extended periods
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends,and holidays
• A valid Food Safe or equivalent food handling certification
• A culinary background, education, or diploma (an asset)

You Will:
