Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking an ambassador for our Event Sales & Services Team. In this full-time, permanent position starting in October 2026, you will liaise with multiple departments to ensure client expectations are exceeded.

Your duties will include organizing convention bookings, creating event floor plans, maintaining client rapport, and managing billing procedures. A strong management background and skills in event planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience within a similar role required.
• Computer literate with Delphi, Microsoft Office and Property Manager.
• Knowledge of hotel banquet operations is an asset.
• CMP Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Organize convention bookings from booking to departure.
• Create floor plans for events with clients.
• Establish and maintain rapport with clients.
• Initiate billing procedures and receive deposits.
• Conduct pre-conference meetings with clients.
• Attend daily meetings to review event contracts.
